Healthy Protein Recipes and Meal Ideas

Vanilla Protein Cheesecake

Ingredients

Base:

  • 100g almond flour
  • 1 scoop (30g) of Vanilla Milkshake Complete Recovery Lean Protein powder
  • 20g brown sugar
  • 50g unsalted butter (melted but cooled)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Filling:

  • 450g low-fat cream cheese
  • 275g low-fat vanilla Greek yoghurt
  • 85g runny honey
  • 2 scoops (60g) of Vanilla Milkshake Complete Recovery Lean Protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Topping:

  • Serve with fresh berries

Method

  1. Pre-heat oven to 170 degrees C (only the base needs cooking)
  2. Combine all the base ingredients together (minus the butter) in a blender until there are no more lumps. At this point add in the melted butter and blend again until just combined
  3. Line a round tin with non-stick baking paper and fill it with the base mix, ensure that this is packed down firmly and evenly across the base of the tin
  4. Put the tin in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Take out and leave to cool
  5. Combine all the filling ingredients together in a blender until smooth
  6. Poor the filling on top of the cooled base and refrigerate for 2-3 hours until set
  7. Serve with fresh berries
